It’s hard to believe 2016 has come to an end. This has been a year filled with so many ups and downs, not just in our country, but in our own personal lives as well. Towards the end of 2016 we definitely put our personal events ahead of Lovely Happenings, and we want to share with you the reason for that: Life is happening!
You may have noticed at our Spring event that our cofounder Rachael was rocking a baby-bump, and on August 19th she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl, Mackenzie. She is happy, healthy, and nothing short of perfect. It’s hard to believe Mackenzie is already 4 months old, and growing way too fast! She seems to get cuter and cuter by the day, and we just love her more than words!
On October 22nd our cofounder Jaclyn got engaged to the love of her life. (He surprised her with a marquise ring made with the diamond from his late mother’s engagement ring). They are planning a late Spring 2018 wedding, and we are already enjoying the planning process together. It brings back so many memories of planning Rachael’s wedding, and Jaclyn can’t wait to make Mackenzie her little flower girl!
While we are understandably wrapped up in the personal events happening in our lives right now, we are certainly lacking in Lovely Happenings events. Don’t worry! We still have so many ideas for the future of Lovely Happenings, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support you all have shown us. As soon as our next event is in the making, you will be the first to know!
In the meantime, we will continue to share glimpses of our daily joys and triumphs on our social media, and we hope that you will follow along.
